The Best Way to Remember Steve Jobs...
In memory of Steve Jobs. Not too many public figures in this century have changed the ways that we do everyday tasks like Steve Jobs has. That is probably why when I received the push notification on my Apple iPhone 4 from AP News that my chest felt heavy and eyes felt watery. When my wife called to verify his passing, my voice spoke with a crack. Weird, I know because I didn't know the guy, but it's just one of this things. He will be forever missed as he was truly one of Earth's leading visionaries. I will miss his talks, his candor and confidence. Now go revolutionize the other side for us.
Back in February, I posted Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address also know as the "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. Speech" Once again, I'd like to share with you my favorite quotes.
"Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards." "Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith." "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish."
There's also this which I take to heart:
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle."
Watch and be truly inspired! Do something that you believe in to be truly amazing today.
Of course, another favorite is when he (and Apple) introduced to us the iPhone. The crowd goes wild!!! Fast forward to 2:30 for the excitement!!!
