Adelle and I, including many of our friends, have just recently completed reading Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy. Starting with "The Hunger Games", "Catching Fire", and concluding with "Mockingjay," you follow Katniss Everdeen in continual sacrifice living in a dystopian future. Where children are "chosen" to participate in a Japanese style gameshow with a "Highlander" like twist - "there can be only one," you are immediately swept away with emotion for the courageous protagnist. Comparing it to a little bit of Running Man meets Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World", these books are enjoyable and a welcome change to the vampire / werewolf flood. I'd recommend reading them before the movie comes out! There a *spoiler alert* in the trailer, so if you have any interested in the books, at least read the first one before clicking play.
